David Beckham's First Kent & Curwen Line Looks Awesome

And it'll be in stores and online come November.

At this point it would be difficult—foolhardy, even—to question David Beckham's taste. So it should come as no surprise that the first collection new collection from Kent & Curwen, the British brand of which Beckham is a part owner, looks incredibly wearable.

Beckham debuted the line's latest collection in London alongside creative director Daniel Kearns. Together, the two created a line of covetable staples that's attractive because it already feels lived in. T-shirts come with the look and feel of already having been put through a few wash cycles, and the rugby shirts—which are a key component here—have slightly distressed feeling to them. They're decorated by turns with Kent & Curwen's three-lion logo or an embroidered English rose, which works double time as a concession to the more-is-more visual aesthetic of fashion right now and a nod to the 90-year-old brand's heritage.

"This should be affordable, aspirational clothing," Kearns said in an interview with WWD. (The line ranges from about $125 for a henley to $1,585 for its top-of-the-line outerwear.) "I think the idea of a new generation lifestyle brand is important—a British one that the new generation can feel akin to. That's really something we want to re-embrace because so much of the heritage going into this makes sense in terms of the idea of lifestyle, from sportswear to tailoring."

The brand has already earned an endorsement from two generations: 41-year-old Beckham loves the clothes, but his 17-year-old son (and budding style god) Brooklyn does too.

"I took some pieces home the other day and Brooklyn saw them and said, "Where are these from? I want to wear them!" the elder Beckham said.

Luckily no one will have to wait that long to wear these pieces. They'll make their debut on Mr Porter in November, and they'll be on Kent & Curwen's website later that month.
