How to Do Push-Ups Like David Beckham

For three consecutive days David Beckham has posted a video of himself doing 22 push-ups (or press-ups as they're called in the U.K.) as part of the 22 push-up challenge. The challenge is aiming to raise awareness for the 22 military veterans who die by suicide each day in this country. Not only is this a good cause—frankly, we could do a lot more to support our veterans—but it's also giving us and everyone on Instagram a close-range look at how and where David Beckham works out.

In the aisle of a private jet somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean (we presume) Beckham—wearing a gray beanie, gray T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and a pair of very stylish sweatpants—performs 22 kinda shallow push-ups (no disrespect).

In a hotel room in Las Vegas, Beckham, wearing nothing but his boxer briefs (that's right, Becks doesn't wear boxers), performs 22 push-ups on the hotel piano to the tune of Ave Maria. He somehow manages to keep from knocking over the three wine glasses and two wine bottles that flank him atop said piano. There is a visible flicker of candle light and the subtle creek of a strained instrument. Beckham finishes his "press-ups" and announces "As you can see, I'm on the 79th floor, I'm on a piano, and I thought I'd bring a pianist with me" (it sounds very much like he just said penis). The camera pans and we see Beckham's buddy in a bathrobe tickling the ivories. What a f*cking boss!

In almost total darkness, Beckham, in a newsboy cap, completes his 22 push-ups next to a treadmill. Is this his home gym?

There you have it: According to international style icon and one of the greatest soccer players of all time, David Beckham, push-ups should be done in a luxurious venue. You should vary your clothing from athletic to romantic to old time-y. And you should, above all, make sure to use your social media fame for a really good cause.
