10 Camo Style Upgrades You Don't Already Own (But Should)

This fall, camouflage is back (not that it ever really went away) in all forms, from digital spins to legit hunting tree patterns and pop color spins on the staple pattern.

Nearly ten years ago, camo reared its way into the world of menswear (that is, the stuff you buy in a boutique and not a surplus shop) and since then it's become the de facto pattern for making staple menswear silhouettes (chinos, T-shirts, hoodies) feel fresh again. You'd think by now we'd all be sick of it. But the clever minds of some of the best brands around right now are finding new ways to innovate the pattern by, well, changing the pattern itself.

Classic green and brown woodland camo are made for blending in to a forest or channeling some classic military vibes. The 2.0 move comes along with bolder color schemes, like the below pants from Vetements, T-shirt from Moncler Gamme Bleu, and blue camo Thomas Mason Tie (none of which would actually camouflage you in the actual wild). Also popping up more and more is tree camo (the hunting style favored by Bass Pro Shop shoppers). But the most advanced move of all is sporting some camo in an unexpected place, like as an accent on fresh white kicks or on a short-sleeve pajama shirt. Point is, if you're tired of blending in with every other guy sporting camo this fall, these ten items are the way to stand out in a hurry.
