Why It's Grail Status Today: The early '90s were much brighter times in fashion, and the logo resurgence we're seeing today has its roots in '90s style. Back then, every brand was getting in on the heavy-branded vibes just as streetwear was gaining steam. (Stussy was founded in 1984, Union opened in 1989, and Supreme was born in 1994.) But even Ralph Lauren, known for its classic American style, embraced graphic prints and color blocking via Polo Sport, a line of clothing under the Polo brand name. The cold-weather gear in particular was a favorite in certain circles, helping to spawn the culture of Polo-obsessed "'Lo Heads" in the process. Today, those pieces have gained cult status amongst collectors, but no jacket is more coveted than the above "Snow Beach" pullover—a yellow, navy blue, and red jacket that is now available on eBay for the sum of $4,800.

The jacket first gained notoriety when in 1994, Raekwon wore it in the video for Wu-Tang's "Can It All Be So Simple". The fact that '94 is often cited as the greatest year ever in the history of hip-hop—and when the Wu-Tang Clan was at its popularity peak—made it even more hyped up. In recent years, they've become harder and harder to come by (Chris Brown sported the jacket back in 2012), and as is easy to see, when they do it's often for a pretty penny. Numerous knockoffs and "homage" styles have been created recently, and Ralph Lauren collector/music producer Just Blaze even dedicated a sneaker collab to the famed jacket. But make no mistake, they ain't Ralph, though.

As far as clothing grails go, this jacket easily cracks the top ten. If you've got the scratch, it's time to jump on the chance to buy it while you can. As the '90s become more and more a thing of the past, "Snow Beach" too will melt into the distance, bringing this jacket along with it.
