Kylie Jenner and Tyga Are Now Wearing the Same Clothes

Because real love is matching parkas and sweatpants.

You don't need a reminder that professional selfie taker/lipstick kingpin Kylie Jenner and rapper Tyga are an item, do you? Of course not. Like most couples, they do couple-y stuff like pose for photos (okay, sexier ones than most couples share online), go shopping together, get their photos taken by paparazzi while they're on shopping trips together, and, we're certain, have meaningful conversations about the current state of American politics. But the couple just crossed into new territory: they were recently spotted wearing outfits that were eerily similar, a move than can't not be on purpose.

While there's nothing inherently wrong with dressing like your significant other (and in our increasingly genderless world, it's easier than ever), there's still something kind of irksome about wearing the exact same outfit at the same time. It says something about your relationship status that doesn't always read well to outsiders.

If we could get our hands on a pair of Kanye West's unofficially named Adidas x Calabasas sweatpants, we'd probably want to show them off, too. And sure, the weather is finally getting chilly enough to bust out your fur-hooded parka. But it's not that impressive that the duo scored the unreleased sweatpants. (It is interesting however that Jenner, having inked what we imagine is a healthy deal with Puma, is basically a walking Adidas billboard.)

Now, it should be said that this level of matching isn't the worst thing we've ever witnessed (that still goes to Justin and Britney's Canadian tuxedo blowout). But this much matching is a slippery slope. Matching pants evolve into matching sneakers then matching T-shirts and before you know it, neither half of a couple has any personal style to call their own. You're more than welcome to own the same pair of pants as your girlfriend or boyfriend—just for everyone's sanity, don't wear them at the same time.
