Billy Ray Cyrus
The Mistake: This is the menswear kitchen sink. The shades, the hat, the hair, the western blazer, the shirt (untucked!), the necklace, the arm band. It's too damn much for our achy breaky eyes.
The Fix: Take off the sunglasses and the arm band, tuck in the shirt, and get those pants hemmed and tapered. Oh, and take off that necklace. It's OK to flex from time to time, but not all at once.
Matthew McConaughey
The Mistake: Dad jeans [screams into pillow]
The Fix: Alright, alright, alright, we'd never expect this from you MM! The biggest thing we take umbrage with is this straight-leg cut. Listen, we get the whole faded/bleached-out wash you went with (it's your "country" look) but that doesn't mean you can afford to ignore the fit. In fact, you have to pay even more attention.
Cole Swindell
The Mistake: If you're making the effort to wear a tuxedo at the Country Music Awards, make the effort to take off your baseball hat—even if it is your "thing."
The Fix: There are times when it's perfectly OK, preferred even, to let go of your personal style quirks for the greater good. And if you want to show your personality, try something like cufflinks or a pocket square.
Drew Scott (of HGTV's Property Brothers)
The Mistake: An untied bowtie is no substitute for proper neckwear—it's just fabric.
Dustin Lynch
The Mistake: A little rhinestones go a looooooooong way.
The Fix: Show some bling with your watch or your cufflinks or even some man-jewelry, but not all over your suit jacket.
