This time of year is peak bomber jacket season and it's not exactly a secret that we're big fans of them in these parts. And while we've told you the 5 keys to pulling one off, the proper way to zip them, and covered Hollywood's recent fascination with the style, today Joe Jonas showed us how we can evolve the whole bomber trend for fall.

Just a few months after acing the swervy velvet bomber, the 27-year-old pop star wore a Neil Barrett bomber with some bold graphics, showing that perhaps it's time to think outside of the outerwear box. Luckily, a lot of designers are feeling the move toward these 2.0 bombers, ranging from design oriented visuals to Gucci-inspired patches and embroidery.
