The Problem: While we may not recommend that lovely pale blue for most guys, 71-year-old Stewart pulls it off like a champ. But he's suffering from a problem that has plagued many men of late are dealing with: a too-short tie.

The Fix: Your tie should hit right at your belt, not halfway through your torso. Either your tie is too short or you need to try again.

The Fix: First of all, it's October—your summer shorts can officially be retired. If you are, for some reason, compelled to wear the bulky half pants, make them a nice flat-front pair; nothing with an egregious amount of pockets.

The Problem: This is a classic case of a few small errant details adding up to an overall disappointing sum. Church is a good-looking guy, but things like the conspicuous sheen of his jacket, the fact that it's a size too big (look at how it juts out over his natural shoulder line), and the unflattering fit of his pants ... it's just so close and yet so far.

The Fix: Get a wool blazer (the fabric won't refract light) in a smaller size and a pair of slim, tapered jeans that end just below your ankle.

The Problem: If you're going to wear a button-up shirt under a sweater, don't let the collar come flopping out. And make sure the sweater isn't so thin that you can see the shirt underneath.

The Fix: Keep that collar tucked!

The Problem: We're all for a bit of pattern mixing, but it's much more advisable to do it with subtler designs. The brash checks, the orange tie, the paisley pocket square, and the gold shoes, all combined are just a bit too much.

The Fix: With a patterned shirt-and-tie combo, let's ease up on the accessories. We'd be way more into this look if the tie were skinny and black, the pocket square was white, and the shoes were in a traditional dark color.
