Yeezy Season 3 Is Dropping This Month, Is Now Way Less Expensive

Some standout pieces from Kanye's Yeezy Season 3 collection—you know, the one that debuted at Madison Square Garden in front of a sold out crowd while West also premiered his brand new album, The Life of Pablo—included motocross-inspired pants (modeled by rapper Lil Yachty at the show) and riding gloves. As it turns out, many of those items were more than just for show, but a full on collaboration with Fox Racing. (Afterwards, it was announced Fox Racing's founder Pete Fox was actually appointed President of Yeezy.) It was a the most hyped-up show of the Fall 2016 season. And then, nothing...

Other than the recently released Yeezy Boost 350 V2, Yeezy Season 3 kind of disappeared—until now. Last night, Fox (the man) responded to an Instagram comment and reveled that Yeezy Season 3 will drop "later this month." He didn't provide any other details, and has yet to reply to our request for comment. It also confirms what we already knew: Yeezy Season 2 will never see the light of the day for consumers.

According to price sheets that leaked months ago, Season 3 sees in some cases a 50% price drop from Season 1, which drew criticism for its high prices. Where a hoodie in season one retailed for around $600, the Season 3 hoodies are rumored to be $325. While things like sweaters and boots are still on the pricier side ($1,800 and $700, respectively), there's also a shearling that comes in at a totally reasonable price of $1,500 (when you consider designer brands often charge upwards of five grand for their versions.) Regardless, whatever and whenever the clothes do hit shelves (and online shops), West's fans will be eagerly awaiting to scoop them up. Stay tuned for more details.
