Yeezy Season 3 Is Finally Dropping (and Here's How Much It'll Cost)

Kanye West's latest apparel offering arrives in stores November 4.

After much delay and mystery, Kanye West's Yeezy Season 3 is set to hit stores November 4. In case you forgot, this was the lineup that debuted way back in February at West's Madison Square Garden fashion show slash The Life of Pablo release party. But since then, nothing, not a peep about when the collection would hit shelves.

The first Yeezy Boost 350 V2 dropped in September and the military boots are now out in two colorways, but next week is when ready-to-wear pieces like those garment-dyed hoodies, coats, and jogger pants are going to arrive. It marks the first time in 2016 that West will be releasing clothing that's not merch (you might recall that Yeezy Season 2 never made it to the retail level) and Yeezy clothing that isn't produced by Adidas.

You also probably remember how Season 1 was criticized for its high-fashion pricepoints, like $4,000 coats and $600 hoodies (though, it was successful). West has time and time again promised to reduce prices and make his designs more widely available, and season 3 is a step in the right direction.

To be clear the new gear ain't exactly mass market levels of affordable but still, the shearling coat from season 3 is priced at a fair (for shearling) $1,500. Pants hover around the $250 mark. Hoodies are in the $350 range and tees are all under $200. Tallied up, that's about a 50% price reduction from a year ago. (There are still a few eyebrow-raising prices in the offering, mostly knitwear like an $1,800 destroyed military sweater, similar to one featured in Season 1).

An official retailer list has yet to be announced, but we can confirm that Black Market USA out of Dallas, Texas and Flannels in Liverpool, England are at least two stores that will have the pieces come Friday. But, knowing the kind of influence Kanye has on his fans, we doubt any store will have much of this collection in stock for long. Stay tuned for more updates as the week goes on.
