Despite the country crumbling around it, Los Angeles was focused on the American Music Awards last night, hosting a list of high-profile music personalities to walk the red carpet, perform, and accept awards for their hard work. And, as with any music awards red carpet, what guests arrive in tends to be a mixed bag (unlike the more traditional film industry where you can pretty much always count on a sea of black tuxes). Hitmakers are much more likely to shake things up on the red carpet, donning anything from high-end streetwear to flashier iterations of classic tailoring, and last night was no exception. However it was the men that played on the traditional black tie dress code that walked away looking the best. Here's a few of the standouts from last night's show.
