Jason Momoa Is This Week’s DGAF Style Hero

The actor, who's also playing Aquaman, is giving zero glorious effs right now.

Jason Momoa’s style usually falls somewhere between biker-goth and fashion-cowboy. He’s a little bit Justin Theroux, a little bit Johnny Depp, a little bit Lenny Kravitz (Lisa Bonet definitely has a type), with a dash of Justin Bobby from The Hills thrown in for good measure. But this week, Momoa’s style has gone to an even rowdier place—making him our DGAF hero of the week, hell, maybe year.

On Tuesday Momoa rolled up to the premiere of his new movie The Bad Batch (a dystopian cannibal love story) wearing a velvet vest with nothing but a tank top and an untied tie underneath. He kept the burgundy theme going straight on through to his shoes. While the look did have an air of Magic Mike XXL to it, it was also kind of refreshing. We’re frankly a little burned out on classic suits, after several weeks of film-festival premieres.

As if that wasn’t enough style rebellion for one week, Momoa rolled up to LAX yesterday in a pair of swim trunks and a bowler hat. His guitar case and leather bag only added to the travelling gypsy vibe. Here is a guy who truly DGAF, and more than just in a Mark Ronson sort of way. Also, here is a guy whose internal body temperature is so high, he can wear flip-flops and a tank top on an airplane and not freeze to death.

So much respect. (But, obviously, don't wear any of this outside—ever.)
