Nike Just Made Every Health Goth's Dream Sneaker

The NikeLab Air Presto Mid x Acronym sneaker takes sleek ninja swag to another level.

In a year that was big for sock-upper sneakers, the Nike Presto had a big year. Earlier this year, the innovative running style was introduced in Nike's Flyknit fabrication—making it lighter and more in-line with the sneaker world's current interests—and now, thanks to Errolson Hugh and his highly-technical label Acronym, they're some of the most modern kicks on the market. Much like the brand's take on Nike's Air Force 1 last year, Hugh's Presto is a little wacky, a little scary, but a lot super cool.

The version you see here is just one of three colorways that the Acronym Flyknit comes in, a black and army green style that perfectly balances Nike's sportiness with the rugged, industrial quality of Acronyms infinitely-pocketed and zippered ergonomic designs. As for the other two colors, one style is simply the opposite black/green layout, while the third has a neon pink and green upper that brings to mind Nike's ACG designs from the 1980s, a label that Hugh himself has spent the past two years molding in his health goth image. The black and green models may be best if you're into urban exploring, while the neon version is more for the guy who is looking for the latest pair of Nikes to rock on the way spin class.
